WELCOME TO CULTURE NIGHT 2019
The Embassy of Lithuania invites you to the Culture Night 2019 event dedicated to the only kaunastic (Kaunas+fantastic) city in the world – Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania, the European Capital of Culture 2022. Through music, arts, photography and cuisine you will be will to learn about its vibrant spirit and character.
Kaunas is a home of a large variety of festivals & events, from operettas to modern dance, from classical music to Jazz. It is a colourful city, famous by its street art, with probably the only square in the world that you can‘t get into - George Maciunas square, inspired by FLUXUS movement. It is a city of a great number of attractive museums, theatres, universities, colleges, fine hotels, restaurants, cafes and bars.
