Try a new language

The European Commission and Languages Connect invites to ‘Try a new language’ during Culture Night – Friday, 20 September. As part of our annual celebration of the European Day of Languages (26 September), we will provide 20-minute taster classes in the following languages: French, German, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish.
Date: 20/09/2019 - 17:00 to 21:00
Venue: Europe House, Dublin 2
The sessions will take place as follows:
- German, Irish, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish between 5-7pm (5 sessions)
- French, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Romanian between 7-9pm (5 sessions)
To pre-register for a particular session (advised), please email DGT-Dublin@ec.europa.eu or walk in on the night and take a chance by sitting in on whichever session has spare places.
Light refreshments will be available on the night. Europe House will be open to the public from 5-9pm.
