Balts Unity Day is celebrated in Ireland
On September 22, the Day of Balts Unity was celebrated in Dublin: the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania Marijus Gudynas and the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Juris Štālmeistars raised the national flag of Latvia in the yard of the Lithuanian Embassy, and the national flag of Lithuania was raised on the building of the Latvian Embassy.
The Baltis Unity Day is a commemorative day of Lithuanians and Latvians, which has been celebrated since 2000, when the parliaments of Lithuania and Latvia decided to jointly celebrate the victory in the Battle of the Saulės in 1236.
