Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ireland participated in Ireland's largest tourism exhibition, the Holiday World Show Dublin 2018, at the RDS Simmonscourt Dublin. The event, which took place on 26 – 28 of January, is the largest of its kind in the tourism sector and this year attracted more than 40 000 visitors.

The Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton, launched the government’s Strategy for Foreign Languages in Education 2017-2026 on 4th of December, 2017. The strategy includes a detailed five-year implementation plan, setting out a series of 100 actions and paying much attention to Lithuanian language.
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ireland took a part in a traditional International Charity Bazaar in Dublin. Embassy was proud to represent ceramic and handmade crafts, bread, sausages, several types of cheese, traditional Lithuanian Šakotis cake ('Tree cake') and all other traditional products. Visitors’ eyes, ears, and hearts were delighted by Lithuanian jazz and soul singer Raimonda Masiulyte - Ramchurn performance.
